Unleash the Power of Impactful Product Photography: Bringing Your Marketing Vision to Life

As an eclectically skilled product photographer with a diverse range of expertise, I possess a unique set of skills that allow me to capture the essence and allure of your products, no matter the medium. From three-dimensional items to clear and reflective objects, food, and even printed materials, I have mastered the art of highlighting their true beauty through my lens.

When it comes to three-dimensional items, I thrive on showcasing their depth and texture. Whether it's intricate jewelry, sculptural artworks, or beautifully crafted furniture, I have an innate ability to capture their unique qualities. Through careful composition, lighting, and attention to detail, I ensure that every curve, contour, and fine detail is beautifully represented in the photograph, enticing your customers and creating a desire to possess your products. Working with clear and reflective items is a challenge that I embrace with enthusiasm. Glassware, mirrors, and polished surfaces pose no obstacle to my skill set. With a keen eye and technical expertise, I navigate the complexities of photographing these materials, creating stunning images that elegantly capture their transparency, shine, and reflective properties. The result? Images that mesmerize and captivate, leaving a lasting impression on your audience. Printed materials are an art form in their own right, and I understand the importance of conveying their visual appeal to potential customers. Whether it's magazines, brochures, or packaging, I bring out the vibrancy and clarity of your designs through expert lighting and composition. I strive to create images that showcase the intricate details, textures, and color accuracy of your printed materials, ensuring that they make a lasting impact. My eclectic skills are not limited to just one medium—I embrace the diversity of your products and apply my expertise accordingly. I take pride in understanding your vision, collaborating closely, and bringing forth your products' unique qualities. With my ability to adapt and my passion for capturing the essence of each medium, I ensure that your products are portrayed in their best light, no matter their form. When you choose me as your product photographer, you can expect professionalism, attention to detail, and a commitment to excellence. I understand the importance of delivering high-quality images that exceed your expectations. With prompt turnaround times and a dedication to your satisfaction, I am here to help your products shine in the marketplace.

PRODUCT PHOTOGRAPHY

KEY CONCEPTS & FAQ

Q:

How does it all work?

A:

It totally depends on your needs – which we can take stock of when we have our initial consult. Before we meet I might ask you to send me some preliminary info about the product themselves. I also might ask you to hop onto pinterest and pull some inspiration photos that you feel lend well to your style. (Don’t have a style yet? Don’t worry! We can work on this together). We might talk about the specific uses for the products as well as what you will be using the photos for. Then you get me the products and I shoot

Q:

Why should I hire you over another photographer? What special experiences, knowledge or skills do you have that provide you with an advantage shooting products?

A:

For a lot of reasons, it just depends on how you prioritize your values. Do you value a photographer whose is flexible when plans change? Here I am! Do you value your photographer having knowledge working directly with graphic designers as well as small business owners? Look no further! Do you value having quality photos that can be used for everything from marketing to portfolio and publication? I've got you covered! Do you value a photographer who wants to share your vision and collaborate efficiently? Hi, I’m Katie, it’s nice to meet you! – Did I mention that I’m truly passionate about product photography and also crazy laid back? Experience-wise, I spent almost a decade working for a high-industrial work contractor under contract for various entities from County to USACE, Bureau of Reclamation, Seattle City Light, and countless municipalities. I have experience in a variety of positions from vetting and drafting government contracts and proposals to project management and support. My biggest "hat" was working as a certified health and safety professional (CHST) which taught me firsthand the value of a good safety program. The last we want is to have your well-established safety program come crumbling down with one cellphone photographer on the job site, unknowingly taking a photo of “what not to do on a construction site”, and then posting it for the world to see.

Q:

I've got a decent camera on my phone, so why should I go out of my way to hire a professional photographer?

A:

I would ask another question: What is your time worth? Business owners are busy and the limited availability of their time itself makes it an incredibly valuable resource. Clever business owners know when to outsource and get exactly what they want the FIRST time. In terms of skill set, the value of an experienced photographer cannot be understated, but having one who wants to collaborate and share your vision, can really get you the best bang for your buck.

Q:

I'm working on a limited budget, how can I be confident that we will get get the shots we need?

A:

We can discuss your photography needs and budget during our initial consultation. After that, I work directly with your "person in charge" (this could be you, your project manager, owner, graphic designer, marketing director etc.) and we decide what should be my photo focus for that shoot. This could be anything from a scope overview to a specific operation taking place, job site personnel, candid action shots, and beyond. I make it a point to be patient but efficient when shooting to make sure we make the most of your time and budget.

Q:

Are there any special techniques or equipment you utilize to get the job done that are specific to product photography?

A:

I love product photography because the possibilities for creativity and technique are truly endless. I have used just about every tool in the tool bag to shoot products from props to lighting, furniture, you name it! If you have specific techniques in mind, feel free to bring it up at our consult!

Q:

How soon will I get my photos?

A:

For basic e-commerce package I like to et photos to my clients the day after I shoot. Shoots that include variable sets or art direction may require additional or delayed processing. If we book in advance however, I can schedule processing immediately following the shoot and deliver photos within 24-28 hours. Last-minute shoots may require additional days for processing based on availability.
